IMAA District IV MiniFest

Rocky Mount, NC

June 14, 2003

In spite of a promise of an all day rain, 39 pilots showed up for the District IV
Minifest. It turned out to be a beautiful day for flying, fellowship ( which is what
we are best at ) and eating (we're pretty good at that too). Some really delicious
BBQ chicken was served about 12:30. The Tarheel Flyers really know how
to put on an IMAA event.

There was good turnout in spite of the fact that the wheather man had promised all week we would have rain for Saturday.

Larry (darn I wish I could remember his last name) with his airplane (darn I wish I could remember what it was called). Someone help me out here!

There were ~55 aircraft to admire.
As you can see, there were plenty of Giant Warbirds.
These beautiful Scale Aerobatic planes were presented by Bernie Ottinger and Nelson Phillips from Kinston.
